Wii U Nintendo Network ID: GoodJobBoy760000 (Full!). I was able to load the textures but when I tried to transfer the KCL file or the PMP file, it causes an in-game crash for some reason so it has to route through hole 3 textures. That’s the file name, This course is meant to test for collision and physics detection for this hole. It’s used in the target practice training mode and used as a screenshot for the golf difficulty selection screen but not used anywhere else.ģ. It’s the one I first wanted to load and the water textures and map did not load as expected than the other videos I’ve seen.Ģ. I will explain and share my thoughts about these courses.ġ. I know that the glf_course_survey course can load but it loads on Hole 2, that’s what I know. I was able to load 3 out of 4 unused courses. I was ripping the disc to some of the files and there are some unused golf courses. You could hit all your shots straight out into the OOB barrier, but it is quite far away and requires you to turn over on every single shot, whereas if you land next to the OOB grass, you can just putt straight forwards. It would have saved a stroke to hit all of the shots OOB, but there wasn’t any set up we could find that is faster than setting up the first shot right next to the OOB grass. Why did your first shot not go OOB on Hole 3? A similar strategy was used on Hole 1 and 7, where instead the first shot was just used to land the ball somewhere where getting OOBs was faster. It actually didn’t waste any strokes, because on any par 4 you can do 5 Out of Bound shots and 1 In-Bound or 6 OOB shots and either way will get you Give Up. That putt intentionally approached the very edge of the river so that all of the rest of the putts would be faster. Why did you miss your first putt into the river on Hole 6? The World Record as of the publishing of this video is 5:58.47 by TheRoadRunner, which you can watch here. Giving up a hole is the only other way to complete a hole, and in some cases it is actually useful to use it in a normal speedrun of golf.

Give Up% is a popular Wii Sports speedrunning category. TheRoadRunner: Hole 1 set up and other strategies. Sir_Tyler: Assistance developing strategies and choosing optimal winds for each hole. This project began on July 24th and ended on August 9th upon completion of the TAS. I used the Dolphin emulator to slow down the game and enter in precise inputs frame by frame. This is a TAS (Tool Assisted Speedrun) of Wii Sports 9 Hole Golf. Give Up% is a category where you want to get the worst score possible. The hole by hole breakdown is as follows: I actually had this video completed months ago, but was holding out hope of finishing the perfect scores on the resort course.

These results are mostly from different rounds (holes 2 and 3 were in the same round, as were holes 7 and 9) and was put together just for entertainment purposes. However, I do have a perfect score on each of the 9 classic holes making what would be a -22 run if it were done in one continuous round (probably humanly impossible, but who knows).

Well, after trying a few months ago, I still failed to get an albatross/double eagle on hole 3 and 9 on the resort course. **Please note this is NOT A CONTINUOUS RUN** #WiiSports #Golf.Ī while back I wanted to make a video of the 18 holes in Wii Sports Resort (9 classic and 9 resort holes) that showed the best possible score on each hole (NOT a continuous round).
